Non-Fault Claims
If another driver caused the accident, you have the right to claim against their insurer directly — or to use an independent accident management company. You are not obliged to claim on your own policy, and doing so often costs you more than it should.
Your rights after a non-fault accident
- You can choose your own approved repairer.
- You are entitled to a like-for-like replacement vehicle.
- You should not pay any excess if liability rests with the other driver.
- You can recover reasonable costs incurred as a result of the accident.
- You are entitled to seek advice on personal injury separately from the vehicle claim.
